Well, I went looking at the tuneboy site and didn't find a tune that really fits my need ???

The question is; should I putt back the butterfly's and get a tuneboy with full power in all gears??
At least when they got a full power map (tors ans bypass)

Have you tried emailing Wayne at Tuneboy, to ask?

I cant see what difference it would make whether the secondaries are in situ or not, Tune boy is going to tell the actuator to open them, which presumably is still there, the fact that theres nothing on the end of it wont make any difference.

And wayne sent me a tune good for full power, bypass and TOR pipes its called DynoSteve.

I havn't fitted the TOR pipes yet but they are on my list, for now I'm running bypass with standard pipes and whilst its plenty fast enough I think I could do with a bit more noise.

Have a look at the latest Tuneboy sticky as there is comment in there from Wayne about tuneboy with removed secondaries. It appears that it could do damage to your bike.

regards

Keith

It is when the motor reaches the speed limiter , motor could get leaned out .

Keith, I e-mailed Wayne as suggested, expecting reply soon.
I asked if I should put em back or not,
I also asked if the tuneboy can reduce the popping, loved it at first but I kinda grown tired of it now.
I don't plan to raise the rev limiter or the speedlimiter so no problem there.

I'm gonna need a **** good forcing reason to put them secondaries back, Its running much better now as it did before (to my taste)

I belive the butterflies are needed to help the bike run better.
removing them will probably make bike seem more grunty.
at the moment nobody is running past stage one (bolt on) performance,
wait until we get hi-comp pistons, wild-cams, oversize-valves, then you will be puting secondarys back in to stop continus wheel-spin , "bugger"
so dont loose those little screws and plates you may need them

anybody been in touch with wiesco yet ???
