I recently saw some spy shots of the new water cooled GS. I'd guess it will offer comparable power.
With all the electronics these things are really just becoming touring bikes for those that want their tour to include some dirt roads. Not that that's a bad thing, after all BMW sells more GS models by far than anything else they make.
I normally turn down offers to ride demo bikes from the dealer, except for demo days with Triumph but I reckon I'll have to try this one on, even though I am a dedicated Rocket man, at least till it breaks again.
