Find an ENT that has heard of Meniere's disease. (Ménière's Disease). I had a fullness moving to severe tinnitus in one ear for a day or so and then got dizzy. Scared me so bad I went to ER. Dizzy, loss of hearing one side, I was afraid of stroke (Dad had one). Never had an episode in 52 years and it has been 6 month since it occurred w/o another episode.
Bloody campanologists.I have a loud ringing in my ears.![]()
The good thing about Meniere's, if one can say anything good about it, is that it is transitory. I recall when I was about 15 years old seeing my father crawling down the hall trying to get to the bedroom, vomiting along the way. It scared the hell out of me. It was a very bad case of Meniere's and thankfully it never returned.
It's almost humorous but I've been up for several hours and have not noticed my tinnitus. I sit down to check on the forum and read this thread before hitting the rain locker and guess what, I have a loud ringing in my ears.![]()
