Throttle bodys

Ok guys, the butterfly shaft on the throttle bodies uses sealed bearings. I found the seal on my #2 throttle body popped out and just hanging there loose. Would this cause an air leak into the throttle body in question? Could that be the cause of the intermittent hard starting ? I’ve done the starter and cable upgrades, replaced the stepper motor and adjusted the tps / stepper motor via tune ecu. Currently running tune 20299 .

There is a guy that bores throttle bodies and he may be able to help with this if you cant source parts. Oh is it leaking air, not sure, but bearing dangling loose will need to be addressed reguardless of leakage id think. Maxbore.com throttle body boring service and repair
