Tal

Welcome to the site and happy holidaze from New Jersey, USA, Captain Tal.

You'd do well to reach out to your fellow Kiwi member here, Paul Bryant. He's a stand-up guy and has been in the motorcycle profession for about 35 years, now specializing in designing, engineering and fabricating beautiful custom exhaust systems. His most recent creation is for our very own R3... Viking Exhaust : When only the best is good enough

Another Aussie welcome, enjoy the new wheels, agree with Idaho on the front Metz. I run the Exedra Max rear and Avon Cobra front and it's a great combo....

Welcome TAL from an expat Kiwi in Adelaide Oz

WELCOME, Tal from WA State.
You have chosen the best motor and you have come to the right place to learn more about your new toy!

G'day again Tal ,if you read all the threads in regard to performance improving modifications you will see there are lots of different opinions and options , it just depends what you want to achieve from your bike ,in my case on my R3T a set of TORS, a GPI,and a crossover pipe to eliminate that abomination of a thing on the OEM exhaust , a K&N in stock air box(works for me) and a remap and Dyno Tune by a guy who works on bikes in the Super bike series ,after the minor mods and 25000Ks the bike is super reliable and more than fast enough for me and visually stock for Mr plod and the RMS inspectors at our frequent roadside "safety checks"
even in stock form it is a good performer and with minor tweaks a bit nicer

I'm hearin ya!...with the tors, k&n filter and decat ..threw a triumph tune on it and she goes real smooth.....a little hesitation at the beginning of the throttle twist but iit will do for now at least

I hope you are talking about trip K&Ns and not the stock single replacement filter, which yields no improvement.
