Stalling

I want to add one more question to this endless albeit informative Stalling post. My clutch actuator switch #14 I believe is loose under the clutch. Now It is tight (at the bolt or screw that binds it to the handlebar) and will not come off although it moves underneath back and forth if I wiggle it. I'm a little nervous about it as it may intentionally be loose. As I said, the screw is tight but the underneath part wiggles. Anyone else's like that? Mine doesn't make a noise and seems flush.

Sorry I forgot, do you also have stalling issue? Did you tighten your switch?

Yes I do. The last two times I had zero stalling but on a single ride of around 100 miles it stalled twice coming up to red lights. The switch is screwed in tight but the bottom of the switch seems to float and move back and forth. Is this by design? Maybe it's nothing and I'm knit picking but I want the game of "are you going to stall at the stop sign" game to not happen anymore. I'll check with the dealer this month for my oil change. The service wrench should be showing up on my panel very soon.

I just checked mine. It is rocking back and forth too. @maurice How is yours?

Hey Maurice if you ever get a spare minute could you take a pic under the clutch of the new switch because based on your other pic your new setup looks semi encased. Thanks

I found out that some Ducatis and BMW R1200s have the same stalling issue.

You know, we are starting to look kooky.
Just take it to the dealer when you can. Different parts of the world might have some differences in some parts, like a clutch switch.

Your switch is the limited edition switch .
I am able to move the metal piece up and down on mine. It is not stable. Nonetheless, looks like only you, me and Mighty Mouse has the stalling issue
