Speedo problem

I've been doing some upgrade works on a friends 2014 Roadster, changed the battery and went to set the clock time. The button was very tight and didn't want to work, when suddenly all the numbers started spinning. I turned off the ignition quickly, then back on and the milage had jumped from 13998 to 22577

I finally solved the sticky button problem (outer shroud was loose), and the milage jump was a change to Kilometers. They say you learn something new every day - I certainly did today !

If you select the milage, then press and hold, it toggles between Miles and Kilometers. Not sure of the speedo does as well ?.........
