I now have the Pretech calipers fitted with Goodridge braided lines and now I have a lot more feel with a lot better grad and they still need a bit more bedding in so things are looking good! :D

Saying all that, there is still a little bit of spongy lever syndrome, no where near the same as before but it's there

My mechanic recons it's the master brake cylinder and he has recommended replacing it as it can now be the only source of the problem. He also says that cos of the 6 pot calipers I need a bigger master as the standard is 16mm, so 19mm after market Harley item is the way to go!

Trouble being that the master cylinder and igition switch gear is one unit so it needs cutting

Has anyone replaced theirs?

If you fit 19mm master cylinder the lever will become wooden (solid) less feel, requiring huge effort to get any decent braking.

I agree with Les, Billy. If you remove too much of the give in em they'll be like a bleeding switch, either on or off.
