Our friend Paul Bryant on this site makes beautiful units -- might be a tad less expensive. He'll configure it any way you want.

Viking exhaust/header will not let you lose the low end torque like the CES and Side winders....... from what I've been told. The smaller tubing Bryant uses coming off of the head helps retain low end torque. Unless there is other mods to the engine the larger tubing isn't necessary for stock type engines...again from what I've been told.

IF there is a torque drop at low RPM - how the heck you going to miss it in first gear?
Seems better to have it going up through the gears, no?
The humongous amount of torque down low is already problematic with being smooth in the tight twisties!

Well I didn't say specifically 1st gear .... trying to say the torque in the lower RPM range. The CES and Carp exhausts more suitable for bikes that has had internal engine mods (Carpenter) and head work.

It doesn't take much thinking that if large size header tubing on a completely stock engine is going to cause some changes in the low RPM torque range.... I do believe. I'm not a professional but was explained the basics by a exhaust builder for these bikes. wink wink.

@mully95

I am with you on the semi-knowledge part; however, with the displacement of our motors, I don't think Low end torque is an issue.
I'd rather have the extra power up top where it will produce more horsepower than the smaller diameter header.

Now now Mr. CES you wouldn't be a little bias now would you?

WOAH there Mully!
I never mentioned CES! (even if it is the best)
Twas referring to ALL the good headers.
