I'm looking at shim kits as I'll be doing my valve clearances on my KTM soon, that bike needs 10mm O.D. shims but I am wondering what the rocket needs? Is the rocket the same size?

The sort of kit I would get for the KTM is "10mm diameter - Includes three valve shims in each size between 1.875 to 3.175 in .05 mm increments. 84 shims in total"

I dunno, but perhaps this would be helpful to you, especially since it's in your native tongue.

Useful video to know what I'll be up against in a couple of years (under warranty I'll get them checked at the dealership) but it doesn't mention the outside diameter of the shims used?

I had a look through the service manual and on parts finders online and I couldn't see any mention of the outside diameter...a shim is a shim is a shim, just need to know the O.D

lol, I might try the local dealership first

I figured someone might have some spares from home servicing and be able to shed some light, chances are they'll be bigger than anything available in generic motorbike kits though

The Rockets are to large I believe the Sprint which has under the bucket shims uses 9.48 mm 9.5's will work but are a wee bit tit when you take them out. KTM must bot want you to be able to run down to the local Jap bike shops to get parts quickly so I believe your hit.
