Ride
2014 Victory Vision Tour
Needless to say, the mountains in fall are stunning in the US of A. I spent last October running the same routes that the RAA runs. Beautiful to say the very least. This year I will ride somewhere different to expand my horizons providing that I can still afford to do so after trying to buy our house in the mountains. I will post some cool places that we have been through but not stayed at for informational purposes only. If we get this house, I will celebrate there and y'all can come up for a BBQ and bear watching .

Little Switzerland, NC Little Switzerland, North Carolina, NC - Skyline Village Inn and Cavern Tavern , https://switzerlandinn.com/

Helen, Ga. Adorable Affordable, Cottage Cabin Rentals, Timberloft Cabin Rentals Helen, Ga, Pet Friendly with some motorcycle friendly cabins.

Tellico Plains, Tn. and real close to our friends Rainman and STB and Krambonz BBQ
http://www.huntslodge.com/, Cherohala Motorcycle Resort in Tellico Plains, TN

Other points of interest Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground, ::RIDER'S ROOST :: MOTORCYCLE RESORT & CAMPGROUND ::, Green River Adventures, DuPont NC RV Trailer Cabin Rentals | Family Camping Hiking Vacation, NC Apple Festival.

Motorcycles are FREEDOM MACHINES and we should use them to freely travel to venues we have never seen and to socialize with people we have never met, and to share our collective experiences with other motorcycling addicts.

Ride the other side.

By the way, I do not wish to suggest that the mountains in the Southeast are the best place to be in October. I would very much like to see Oklahoma, New York/New England, Arkansas and Pennsylvania. Just as long as there are scenic highways and Biways like the old venerable Route 66.

Random thoughts from a random individualist.

May I just say you are a bugger cos you went an influenced me to go out and start taking photos again a while back, I wasn't happy with the damm results so now I have just bought a new DSLR a Cannon 600d with a twin lense pack, see what a bad influence you are, once I get my pilots licence for the zillion and one settings I might post a couple of shots been playing with one of the lenses the 55-250 telephoto and amazed at how nice a picture of some tiny wildflowers near home. As I said you have a lot to answer for Mr Joesy's Wales at least that is what I told my dear Ann

Unfortunately, that is the story of my life, one miscue after another and apologies on end. Its why I stay away from folks now. Less stressful to pi** myself off, I get over it much more quickly than do others.

beautiful, your not gonna see anything like this in in NE Oklahoma in the fall maybe south east near Arkansas or Texas but I wish I could see this!!

If i get up to Canberra soon I have to take camera as this time of year Autumn/Fall as you call it is great for the trees in all their Glory

Well Dusty Rose, I was in Texas and there are great places just about everywhere and I am intrigued by everything even when it's not trees or leaves. The colors of rocks in Bryce Canyon Utah or Palo Duro Canyon Texas captivate as much as maples IMHO. Leaves are great and cyclical, stone lasts.
