RIP Gary "Maddog" Ducote

Had a good friend of mine passed away Gary "Maddog" Ducote.

Gary was a pilot, a combat veteran, a biker. Gary lost his long battle with brain cancer. Until about three or four months ago, Gary rode his motorcycle from New Orleans to Shreveport for his treatments. When he reached the point where he could not safely ride two wheels, he bought a trike. The world is poorer now that a man like Gary has crossed over. He has been a personal inspiration to me. Some of you might have met him out on the open roads he was the past president of wild pelicans MC.

Very sorry to hear of Mad Dog's passing.

I could only hope to have that kind of tenacity (riding to and from cancer treatments) if found in that situation.
