A couple more grandparent pictures:

That's my late grandfather and grandmother on the horse, (same ones as in the previous HD motorcycle picture) and my late grandfather and his brothers in the old car.

(My late grandmother was one tough person. When she as a school teacher in the foothills of California in the typical one-room school house. One day the farmer next door shot a rifle at an animal and the bullet ricocheted, came through the school house window and hit my Grandmother in the head knocking her off her feet and knocking her out.
She got up bleeding about the same time as the local postman came by on his horse. My grandmother told the postman to come back after school was out to take her to the doctor to get her head stitched up. The story goes she finished her lessons with her hand on her head to stop the bleeding.)

A little blood and concussion once in a while will keep you tough!

A bit off topic of pictures...but, since I'm remembering old grandparent stories....
My late Aunte brought a young man home to go for a ride on my grandfathers horses. The young man after the ride, rode his horse into the barn without walking the horse to cool her off. My grandfather, as this story goes went into the barn and had a "discussion" with this guy--He never came back to date my Aunt again!

Gramps was a tough, straight shoot'n guy who you did not mess with!
