Thanks to the great info on the forum managed to get my rear wheel off with out to much fuss! It was dealing with the 20 year old exhaust bolts that was the biggest pain!
Most hardware doesn't improve with age so it's not surprising you had problems with getting the exhaust off. Don't know why you're taking the wheel out specifically but being an 05 check your wheel bearings closely, and replace if necessary.
