Slapper, isn't that the same thing? 3xpods or 3xK&Ns ???

Gday mate, technically and mechanically I am a qualified moron so take this post as you will, however, through experience I can say that when I originally removed the plenum and stock filter I used 3 pod Uni Filters. After reading about somebody's bad experience with the foam filters igniting and causing an engine fire I decided to replace then with K&N's.

With no other change I started experiencing all soughs of problems and then discovered that the air fuel mixture was out due to increased airflow from K&N's. Had a custom map by the genius at Peter stevens retune to suit the K&N's and of course he ****ed it up because they specialise in that at my dealership. The dropped 11 hp but when I sent it interstate to Lushie I ended up gaining 7hp with a tweak of my original Lushie tune.

Don't ask me why, how or any technical stuff but shows 18hp difference between technicians....moreso 7hp between uni filter and K&N on my bike.
