out-put shaft bearing/contaminated oil/repair

I would appreciate a reply from Rocket riders that have had the out-put shaft bearing repaired on their bikes.

When your bike was repaired was there any consideration from Triumph or the dealer regarding contaminated oil being circulated through the engine and having problems miles down the road ? I was assured by Triumph and mechanics that the screens and the filter would stop all the metal shrapnel from getting past the sump into the engine.

My question is when your bike was repaired was there any addtional work done to the engine or was only the bearing replaced and the system flushed to clean out any metal shavings ???

My question is this: The Harley guys have been using oil filters with magnetic bottoms for years. Anything like that available for the Rocket? If not, it sounds like a fairly easy mod.
