Searching for the left side pannier support rail assembly for a 2008-2010 Tourer.
The Triumph part description: Rail, Pannier Mounting, LH. Part # T2352040.
It’s no longer available from Triumph, yes, another extinct replacement part.
I’m really frustrated, if parts for my bike become more obsolete I’ll have to consider riding over to the
nearest scrap metal dealer, weight the bike, take the cash and call it a day.

I sort of vaguely half thought/remember that there was a law or something, maybe only on some stuff, that manufacturers had to have parts available for 10 years?

Yes 10 years....but I suspect it's only for the bits that keep it running.

That's kind of how the owner of our local, former, Victory dealership in Bremerton explained it to me. Polaris will provide repair parts but not accessories, which they will leave to after market guys. He did say that basic body parts, tanks, sheet metal, etc, will still be available. He bought two pallets of accessories from Victory as it was closing while a NJ dealership was able to buy 9-10.

Also, I don't believe it is law but rather a "good of the industry" common practice. If one researches the issue it becomes very complicated with various federal legislation being proposed under the so called Right to Repair Act (s) as well as warranty acts etc.

It will be interesting to see how Triumph supports our Tourings since they've been discontinued.
