Welcome, great looking bike
I am a newbie also , picked up a new 2007 metalflake black. I have put on a few extra's (seat and sissy bar/rack/pad/badge). I have a feeling we'll learn together. I cannot get my head around a car tire either, probably will buy two Metzler rear tires, one to put on and one as a backup.
I watched a man who bought a new RocketIII Classic last week, put $5,500.00 U.S. in extras on his new bike. Bike ooked realy great after all the chrome put on. Wow, I could get into serious trouble with all of the parts available from Triumph. Haven't looked at aftermarket stuff yet.
Anyhow, welcome aboard.

By the way.......rayjay is right, black is the fastest color.
