Newbie From The Sunshine State (Florida)

I'm a LONG ways from Plant City. I'm in the panhandle near Fort Walton Beach. What kind of pegs, highway? I'd like to get those and a luggage rack. I had the dealer install the quick detach backrest when I bought the bike. I thought I was getting the luggage rack with it (said so on the sales order), but I think it was a typo in the description on the salesman's part because I checked the part numbers after I got home and the part numbers were for the brackets, pad and sissy bar (3 separate numbers). There's another part number for the luggage rack. It's no biggy because I wasn't charged for it. I just wish I'd have figured it out sooner. I'll just pick one up when I go in for the 500 mile service.

Daryl, just make sure you order it in advance. You lucked out on the sissy bar, back rest and brackets as they had ordered those in advance, but when everything became "back ordered" they didn't get it till the day you first came in and you lucked out that they just happened to have a set. They do have some accessories for the Rocket (mainly Standard and Classic) in the back but the newer ones for the R3T will have to be ordered as they have not had a chance to build up any accessories yet because the R3T is so new.

Yes - highway pegs with the adjustible mounts - and following your lead I am going to pick up the luggage rack Thursday at my dealer - I have the backrest too - it is cool - riding with the pegs and long haul seat with the torque is like flying on the ground...... endless grins

yes - Ft. Walton is a stretch - mabey for Biketoberfest we can get a group of Fla Rocket Riders to meet at Daytona this October???

Sorry, I don't do Daytona. I went last year for bike week and it only reminded me why I quit going in the early '90s. I am going to Myrtle Beach soon, however.
