I went for a ride on Saturday up to the western edge of New Mexico and into Arizona. Only the second long ride I've done on the rocket since I bought it. 500mile days are no problem on this bike. I was with two friends who both ride Indians.
RT 70 is an awesome road. Couple of really nice little towns to run through. Big shout out to friendly and small Duncan Arizona. Nice little bar with the best fish bowl sized glasses of shock top I've ever had.

Did you go up The Coronado Trail, which is Hwy 191, which some folks call the Devil's Highway? It starts only about 30 miles from Duncan and is 80 or 90 miles of switchbacks, twisties, and hairpin curves? It starts in a desert environment and ends up in the cool pines at close to 10,000 ft. An awesome ride not to be missed if you are in the area.
