Hello everyone,

My name is Keith. I currently live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I pick up my new Roadster in3 days and I can't be more excited (and a bit nervous) to join the club. I've been riding since 2003. First bike was a 96 Virago 1100 Special. 2nd bike was a 2010 Vulcan Custom 900 SE which I just traded for the Roadster. I liked both of those bikes but they always felt a bit small and under powered...I don't think that will be a problem anymore.. I guess my biggest worry is the height of the bike as I'm only 5'9" on a good day. I'll check the boards for some seat recommendations on that though. Happy to be here.

Guess what. You are HUMAN, and we are TOO.

You are absolutely normal to be a bit nervous at first. I presume you test rode the bike, so you know you can handle it.

Just take it easy for the first few months -- pay attention to road conditions and traffic -- take it easy enough you can plan all your stops and pay attention for a while where you are putting your feet and the tension in your legs until you develop that sense and resulting confidence "I got this!"

And you have come to the right place -- all individuals here -- and all wonderful in their own way.

I am 5'11, but with only 29" legs and I found it fine to sit on with feet on the floor.
