New Captains for whatever its worth.

You know that ugly white sticker on the gas tank and it is really ugly if you have tribal markings. I used a hair dryer on it until it peeled right off. I then took a soft cloth with a little spit and rubbed the remainder of the glue off. My dealer told me it was against the law for him to remove it. Anyway hope that helps. :wink:

Lift the edge of the stickers ,
picking @ it with finger nail .
Then give it a few spritt's with WD 40
while peel it back comes right off .

warhorse, yeah, dealer suggested the same for me...said the sticker would eventually fade and the paint might become discolored. He said it would be illegal for him to remove it, but that I could if I wanted to. I will, just as soon as I bring the big girl home.
