I know this has been spoken about hundreds of times but I seem to be having problems selecting neutral. My bike has only done 23000 k's and is within service deadlines. WTF!!!!

Check your clutch adjustment. Also, check the gear changer linkage. I've had the screw thing on the ball joint of mine working loose a couple of times and it makes neutral tough to find.

Mine is the same especially when Hot.. I select neutal while still slowly rolling or put weight in the change lever and just let the clutch touch and it flicks in, I think its due to the truck gear sprockets we have in there for the big torque flyte :)

If your clutch cable has 2-3 mm clearance at the lever end you just have to adjust the stopping style..

Yeah ,you have to get the load of the engine off the gearbox.

thanks fellas...let you know what happens. Incidently just had to put another battery in the bike, the last one was 18 months old so no complaints. My fault for not riding enough and forgetting to hook the battery tender up.
