Went to the National Motorcycle Museum at Meriden recently and they have a Red R3 on display. More people taking pictures of it than any other bike in the museum. A great day out and huge collection of british bikes and information. Any of the guys from Aus and/or the US coming over here you should make a point of visiting.

Make it FOUR!

The hulking R3 is obviously iconoclastic. Butt ugly as a pig in horse****e, but that is her charm! Humpbacked like Quasimodo, hideous, featureless lump of an engine (looking borrowed from John Deere farm equipment). Appalling exhaust system. **** near the ugliest thing on two wheels: the anti-V-Twin!:D Nemesis of HD's everywhere! Slayer of the predictable! Unique and bold. Wouldn't have the homely old girl different at all...well...except maybe another jug!

Come on Dracul!! She is not ugly!
She is like one of those women that wear strange clothes that make her look unattractive but when it comes down to business she has much to appreciate. She lets you walk away with a smile on your face knowing that you WILL call again.
Beauty queens usually leave ya wondering how you could have made better use of that time you just wasted.

Just fer grins

Taking the female analogy thang a little further down the road; average and even below average fems always seemed to be most enthusiastic when wrestling. Ahem. The Queens were always too busy admiring their perfect breasts, and other ASSets, to truly please me at least (probably not even themselves). There were some exceptions. Must agree on the whole though, the Plain Janes were often the most memorable and left me with the biggest grins:D:D:D They TRIED harder:cool: So I did likewise. Ah....the mammary's...er memories:rolleyes:

Likewise the two wheeled farm machine we know and love. Not so comely. Kinda like the red haired middle son of motorcycles...but plenty of soul, plenty of balls, oozing character;)

I'll be there in April next year and was planning a trip to the Museum.
