on wednesday september 19 the wx was perfect the temperature a balmy 25 degres centigrades , so my wife suggested we do the loop calgary longview highwood pass and back to calgary it is a 300kms loop we stopped at every picnic spots and enjoyed a beautiful fall day with bright yellows and greens and blue the #40 highway tops at 2000meters called highwood pass it run north south and is strictly a tourism road . we made some video bu I have yet to figure out how to remove the noise from the wind before posting so all I can do is post the two pics I made. for lunch we stopped by wedge pond and sat down facing the lake drinking red chianti eating italian salami sandwiches and finished with " creme brulee" and proseco bubbly.
