welcome mcrocket from wisconsin i just bought mine but at lest you get to ride you'rs

Congrates on your purchase. The first thing I would do is have the dealer install a throttle lock BEFORE you pick the bike up. If you were wanting a power cruiser, you picked a good one. But that is the bikes biggest down fall for a cruzer, no electronic cruz. There are some after market solutions out there but you will find them soon enough. Once you get home with the beast you will start looking into how to lease the horses from with in. Then the fun starts. Good luck with the bike and be careful on your ride to the house and welcome to the board.

I owe you a big solid on that crusie control tip. I had a pair of Throttlemeisters on my Hayabusa which I removed and threw in my backpack on the outside chance they would work on the Rocket. Guess what......they worked dead on. I rode 1000 miles on Interstate 5 in a couple of days and without the Throttlemeisters, it would have been a *****.

I am not going to put them back on my Busa. They worked great on the Rocket. Next to true electronic cruise, the Throttlemeisters worked perfect.
