I was on a road trip several years ago when riding in Wyoming. It was 50 miles between gas stations and filled up the Buell before heading to the next town.
Two lane black top with NO traffic. I was feeling spicey that day and did 120mph most of the way. When I stopped for gas, I happened to look down at my
rear tire while walking behind the bike and shocked to see cord showing through half way around the tire. Had no idea it was worn that much. Had to stay the night while paying the overnight delivery fee for a tire sent to the local chain saw dealer.
Keep an eye on it.
