I must admit , I am somewhat a buffoon when it comes to electrics and wiring . Tis witchcraft !
You captains out there who have fitted LED lights , could you please tell me what should be done with the sidelights which are made redundant from the headlights when fitting daymakers , my thoughts are just to remove the bulbs and tape up the holders , but would that work ? I dunno I'm stoopid !
I capped and stowed mine. Worked in aviation too long to leave a unused circuit live.

I ask you , what kind of blithering idiot would join the earth wire to the feed ? :unsure: some people shouldn't have nice things ! :banghead: of course , I forgot to mention , this thread wasn't for me . Someone asked me to find out for them . I would never be so stupid as to do something like that .Tsk! Tsk ! :D

i installed a harley daymaker and it does have the little parking light on the bottom.
what i think i did was to cut the power wire to parking light and connect it to the parking light on the daymaker.
