Jardine owners.

Hey guys looking for some ideas or advice on how to mount Jardines so that the pipes don't have such an upswept look. I like the look of pipes that are more in line with the swingarm. Is there any amount of wiggle room the way they mount to do this or would I have to bend the collector down abit more. Any advice or ideas would be appreciated.

I don't think the Jardines can be altered from their manufactured form unless you are really good at heating, bending and/or fabricating.

They are what they are . . . or if you could buy predators you'd get that straight out the back look and gain additional performance numbers over Jardines.

I do love my Jardines, but my rear turn signals are bluing nicely. :shock: :lol:

What about asking your local friendly exhaust shop if they can straighten out a couple of bends, just a tad....????? They're generally perfectly capable of cold bends without kinking.

Can you run standard saddlebags with the Jardines??

Can you run standard Triumph saddlebags with the Jardines? I'm about to place an order for a set of Jardines and I'm concerned they may be too high...ie. they'll hit the bottom of the bags??

I guess you could get them mounted a bit lower by altering the hole position at the footpeg mount but I never thought they were upswept much anyway, I have repositioned my rear indicators inwards and upwards so they dont get fried by making up a new bracket, also I found them too loud but I love the look so I have extra baffles fitted, used to make my ears ring on long trips, another problem cos I have rearsets I kept melting my boots on the mufflers and its a pig to clean off so I have some exhaust can protectors fitted.

You can also mount the Corbin Beetle Bags without interference from the Jardine exhaust system.

Personally I like 'em. The performance is a nice added bonus as well.

The sound is loud enough without being too loud. Sometimes on long highway runs I'll wear ear plugs to cut down on the sonic booms resulting from traveling beyond the speed of sound. :lol:

For the money they are hard to beat.

The only other choices are TORS or the ever so rare Predators. There are others, but don't know enough to comment.
