was going to remove my front wheel/tire today and get the tire changed but found i did not have an Allen Head large enough to fit the azel..
Anyone know what size it is... along with any other instructions on what to watch out for, torque settings, etc etc..
thanks.
just went into the garage and found the only 2 3/4" bolts (with nuts) i have and hooked them up.. I'm sure it will work.. thanks,, Also you were right the 5/8 in spark plug wrench fit also but i dont get how you can get it to turn. guess it dont matter now lol...
(hard to believe i only had 2.. i pride myself on having a well stocked garage.. LOL guess not!!)
Use a 5/8" allen wrench (with a 3/8 or 1/2 drive to fit your torque wrench) into the spark plug end of the socket. Works great. That's how I did it when I found my front wheel was installed backwards from the assembly dealer...
You can also use backed up allens. A 12MM backed with a 7mm will fit OK and allow you to spin the axle out. Make sure you have enough clearance on the fender before you start, otherwise you get to wrestle the fender and forks to get the wheel out. Good Luck
