Just wanted to introduce myself I live in the Midlands in England and my current ride is a BMW R 1300 GS which is being traded in in three weeks when my Rocket 3 storm GT arrives. Back in 2016 I owned a second-generation rocket and always regretted selling it even if the gearbox was crap, anyway can’t wait for the new bike and to start a few modifications Cheers.

Greetings from sunny North Texas. The 2004 to 2019 models are usually referred to as 1st Gen Rockets since they all had the 2300 motor. The Gen 2 has the 2500 motor. You'll like the Gen 2 version a lot, it's quicker, lighter, handles better and has built in conveniences the Gen 1's had to be customized to get. Enjoy your new wheels.
