Hi all,
I have had an 08 R3 Classic for about a month now. I purchased some Flipmeister front brake line jiggers as the original plastic ones were never fitted from new and that is what led me to this site.
I have had a look around and there is a ton of useful information here and also many friendly and helpful people.
I am 44 and have had plenty of bikes over the years but none like the Rocket.
I know you aren't meant to load up the engine when running it in but the thing will pull from 1000RPM in top gear no problem at all.
One thing I will say about the bike is that you have to get used to riding it, gearchange, steering, throttle, weight, etc. But after 1000kms it is all starting to jell, I love it

Thanks everyone for welcoming me here.
I have a blue/silver classic, here is a pic.
I will put some more photos in my album.
I am really enjoying the bike and every mile on her is an absolute pleasure.
I live in Berowra on the northern end of Sydney and there are some great road s right on my doorstep. I can either jump on a freeway or blast down some great twisty secondary roads. I think the rear shocks will be upgraded soon as they are a bit on the nasty side.
