Welcome from Houston...well...Waller County actually, but close enough. Next time you are in the area give us a shout there is usually something going on, even if its just a quick run to the Thirsty Parrot or Yankees Tavern
I love the run to Yankees...I miss that part of living in houston. Unfortunately, this weekend I am playing at Vintage Pub...bike may appear on stage...(judas priest tribute band) not sure if my singer knows how to ride... Heh

Sounds like a cool weekend. I'm stuck in Lafayette, LA for work or we might cruise down for the show.

Welcome from Utah, just got back from down Texas way, had a chance to meet R3TEX. You should be in good hands with the fellows down there. Perhaps you can make RAA IX in Montrose Colorado last week in June!

Welcome Drew.. I am also in San Antonio and a long time Rocket owner.. I also run the Jardine exhaust system. You will need a PC-III or PC-V to really get the most out of the Jardine system. The Triumph TOR tune, probably what LoneStar Triumph loaded, will get you closer, but the Jardines are much freer flowing than Triumph's TORs, so you will still run lean. I run a PC-III (the PC-V had not been invented yet...) and I had it tuned by a local dyno shop... Been running that same tune for years now and it runs great...

2 weeks ago, a 2008 Rocket III Touring became mine and I drove it from Wild West Honda back to my home in San Antonio. It burbled and popped but I didn't notice the incredibly lumpy idle. I figured out immediately though that it was an aftermarket (Jardine) exhaust. I figured it was a tune issue so I drove to Austin today to get it retuned. Its a bit better but now the power seems to be down.
Is there anyone in the SA area with a tuneboy that has some time to help a nOOb out?
Is there meetups (my last bike was a Valkyrie I/S and we met once a month somewhere in Houston) in the area for RIII owners?
