hi folks my name is Ed and we live in the finger lakes area of NY..

we are looking at the the RT3 as our next bike as we like to travel and camp the RT3 will work fo us very well as we pull a trailer for camping on the road..but before I buy I like to learn as much as i can this looks like a great site to learn about this bike..

Thanks Ed:cool:

Welcome to the site. What would like to know?

hi Daryl well my other 2 bikes are 2002 triumph bonnievill america.....,2007 tiger 1050
we ride the tiger as our main bike and my son has taken over ridding the TBA.. and as we get more time to run around the state and canada..we are looking for a bigger bike that is very comfortable to ride on long road trips...yes the tiger does a great job of this and we pull a singel wheel trailer with it....but we sat on a RT3 and the wife went wow she really like the floor boards as I did the same thing it was very comfortable to set on I test road a rocket when it first came out but have not test road one in years and i know they have made changes to them.. and i see many people rave about the RT3 and its a bike all set up for touring
and we want our next bike to be a true tour

and we are kind of setting back and waiting we are hearing about triumph bring the
triumph tropy back in the next year .. to be honest I would love to the RT3 come out with a fairing..

Well they dont have a fairing yet but you can get one for them.I think corbin makes em.
I love my R3T......its got lots of power and it is very comfortable. If your short armed ya might want to add some risers to it.:D

Welcome!! Got the R3T and the wife and I absolutely love it! Now if your doing many miles of travel youll definetely want to accessorise this beast. Probably a trunk on back and a fairing with radio (or comm with bluetoothe stereo from an ipod or something like that) other than that its a joy to ride. Been down to Lecthworth state park and around the finger lakes (conesus, honeoye, seneca, cayuga and the likes) just last year.
Take a test ride and you wont turn back. Good luck!

Kmutt sounds delirious...and a Rocket III will do that !
My question is whether the wife comes with a guarantee :D
and, truly worth IT.
MyAmy is for me :)
