If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing in term of which mod came first. A "silencer upgrade" was my first and it was a very very remarkable boost. And recently, I read herein there may be a 10hp diff. between the OEM bypass and the alternative (Rivco, I believe) with the OEM having the higher results. Secondly, I went with an ECM reprogramming system second and haven't done a thing since. It has been mega ear to ear grins ever since. But, I can't say the TuneBoy would haven't have been as big an initial boost as was getting rid of the fur ball, had it been first. The silencer upgrade though is an OEM option and might be worked into a deal Screw the TORs unless earplugs are your normal wear or front row seating at a rock concert is your preference.

Performance and handling between the 07 Tourer and the 08 Touring models? Only my imagination, at this time, could tell me that the 07 is much much more spunky. I've not had the pleasure of a Touring test ride. The torque is up and the Hp is down and the back tire is cheaper on the 08. The back tire, by the way, is a significant and regular outlay for the hot Rocket III. Several avid riders, and I very soon, have gone over to the "dark side" with car tires.
