Hi from Cornwall UK

Hello and welcome Jaspz, I was in Padstow on my rocket a couple of weeks ago. but its a bit far for a normal run out for me usually.

hi,
there from rainy newcastle upon tyne uk, got 2011 roadster and i love it, its my second rocket. And what a machine to ride, you can keep harleys, even thou they look nice to look at, but the price conpared to harley, better value for money all round:).

Wow a real international welcome, thanks all.. Here are all the Rockets! In cornwall there are lots of bikes and people on hols from all over Europe on their bikes, I bought my Roadster in September 2010 and in the 6000 miles and 2 years since I've seen maybe 2 max! They are rare as hens teeth here- I rolled up to a big bike meet last month in south England and saw a small handful of R3's but for every 1 there were 100 Harley Fergusons! I've been to Hinckley and seen the warehouse full to the ceiling.. I guess 90% get shipped to America. I love mine and it's nice to find those who might agree! Irreplaceable..

I agree
I live in and work in central london and there's one parked in chelsea that i see often
Very rarely do i see one on the move.
It's kinda cool having a rare and unique bike..mine's a keeper

Definately a keeper! Where do you go from the Rocket? Too many bikes have 'better' replacements as the years and models roll by, a friend of mine bought a ZX10R at the same time as my Rocket, same money- he's lost over £2000 a year in depreciation since and there are improved models since to wish he had! Crazy.. Rocket Roadster? Might leave it to my Grandchildren one day (I'm 32 by the way!)

Hi Jaspz,
i'm a Newquay Boy living on the Gold Coast Australia, did my first 150mph on the Goss moore a week or two ago now on an origional ZX10.
i've had trouble with using the ecu tune in the past, I believe prior to loading a new tune the previous tune is deleated. The cable between my PC and the ECU gave up while i was trying to reload a new tune. I ended up with a bike that would'nt start, it was two weeks old at the time and I was fearful if i returned to the dealer they would walk away as i was messing with the ECU. However a member of this site saw my posting got on his bike and sorted it out for me. Many thanks motolink.
Give some more details and i'm sure somone will be able to help.
