Hello from the cold country, Nova Scotia Canada

You can expect your maintenance bill to be directly proportional to saddle time. The more time you spend in the saddle the less time you will have to tinker around spending money on your new love. They love to be ridden hard and then change the oil at 10,000 miles and more hard riding. Check tires often, particularly rear one. Welcome

Welcome - Unfortunately your wait for riding weather will be even longer than mine...

Well over a foot of snow already today and it is supposed to keep coming down heavy until tomorrow morning. Sustained winds of 30 knots with gusts 50+!

Maine is essentially shut down today and the crappy thing is that it is too nasty to take my snowmobiles out,,,

Welcome to ya from WA State!
You have purchased a very fine motor that shall provide you with HUGE thrill and MUCH fun!
Get used to it before you grease it!

Welcome from the frigid foothills of New Jersey, Captain. Take good care of your Rocket and she will "love you long time", Tom!

Enjoy the ride!!!

Consider this a brief allegory:

Hello Tom and welcome to the site. What can you expect?
1. You can expect your ride to leave black marks all over the pavement especially near Harleys.
2. You can expect to clean the drool off the tank from all the wannabe owners.
3. You can expect to be inundated and pestered by people asking what the heck it is and if it is a 6 cylinder.
4. You can expect to have a grin on your face which won't come off........ :)
