Can't we all just get along? The engine is definitely an upgrade. The handling, not so much. I like both bikes for different reasons.

I'm glad you guys kept the same user names. Certainly makes my life easier. LOL

the tour handles different..less rake and that 180 tire on the rear not that 240 so that makes it handle better .. and as for me I really like easy I need all the help I can get

Hi folks. I've been lurking here for quite a while learning as much as I could about the goods and bads of the Rocket III. I've lusted for the Touring model for years now and Saturday morning, I'm headed for Georgia to pick up an 08 blk/wht R3T!!!

I just sold my beloved Speedmaster that I customed out quite a bit. I'll share some pics of her later but I am very excited to the point of bursting to get on such a beast as the Rocket.

This seems like a pretty tight knit group(must be a triumph thing) and I hope to make some new friends and meet some of you all some day. I'll post some pics of my speedy AND of course the Rocket when I get her home and settled.

I'm in St Louis as well, perhaps we can begin to convert the whole city
