Hello from Pennsylvania

Gday SR, Great to hear you have your issues sorted. I can assure you that when the bike is running right (which it ususally should be) there is very little else you'd prefer to be on.

As a close friend of mine said to me wwhen I was considering a BMW bike...

"Other bike, like the BMW are perfect...they are like the type of girl you want to introduce to your family the day after you meet them and marry them shortly after. You know they will be dependable, reliable and do what they are meant to very well very regularly. The Rocket on the other hand is like that college girl friend you only saw on the weekend, that you hung out with, was hot, loved to party and every time you were with her you finally got home with the biggest smile and all you could think about was next weekend. For me a motorbike is a weekend thing, I want the fun and passion and that first weekend away feeling every time i ride. If I want the good wife thing, id buy a german car and not think about it again."

After he said that I decided to keep the rocket and make it even wilder just for fun. Wait until that ride where you get back and just shake your head in bewilderment wondering how something can be so much fun yet be completely legal, moral, ethical and above board. Doesn't make sense but a Rocket represents all of that.

Keep us up to date brother.

Oh and as far as shocks go I can say many of the lads here speak highly about 'Progressive and Hagon'. I can unequivocally tell you Wilbers make a stunning shock and i love mine. you can get lower height shocks from them too.

Good morning to those on this side of the ball and sweet dreams to those on the other!

I am going to look into each of those shock types.

How is the handling and the ride with a lowered bike?

Does it effect the center of balance at all?

Do you still get a smooth ride?

Thanks everyone!

God bless!!

PPP

If the front and rear are lowered it won't affect the center of gravity, but ground clearance.

Glad to know it's working out for you, mine is still trouble free!

Aivmid:

We do not have it yet.
The dealership's owner wanted to test ride it first.
Since it is 2 hours from here the plan is to meet in the middle to pick up the bike.
This will probably occur tomorrow since that is the best looking day weather wise of the next 3.
This also gives me a nice 1 hour ride home to see how it is running.
As soon as it is in our hands we will report.

My wife is not happy how we have been treated by the dealer or by Triumph.
She is a shorter generally mild mannered lady.
But she has been livid through this entire ordeal.
Original purchase date was July 13th.
We have been owners of a loan for a rocket for 30 days but only had the Rocket in hand for 3 working days.
Let's hope day 4 is better.

Thanks.

God bless!!

Michael

Tomorrow at 5:30 PM I will have the Rocket in hand.

Flying along the highway, or pushing?

That is to be seen.

God bless!!

Michael
