Hello from North Florida

Hello Ogun from Northern Ontario where summer show up July 31. Been through Jacksonville a few times on my way to sunny Ocala, Orlando, Daytona etc etc. Florda has beautiful weather. Glad you are considering the Rocket. You won't be disappointed with the bike and especially with this site. There are many tremendous riders here with a plethora of info and advice to keep you riding and smiling. Don't wait. Buy the bike.

Welcome from a **** Yankee stuck in the Confederate State of South Carolina.....No worries on the Torque....Intense yes but not a zero zero ejection seat. Be ready to support Bridgestone as you will be going through some rear tires. If you are not...you are not hitting it hard enough....Handles great and no "Chicken strips" on this bike as it does inspire confidence!

It pulls like a "Saturn Five" on your hands and your wallet. Hold on!

True yank myself, M******* born and raised in the 021** zip myself, moved her in '99 and love it. Plan on wearing at least 1 rear out within the first year of ownership or sooner on some long runs up 95 this summer.

Welcome from WA state. I upgraded to my Roadster from a Meanstreak. My first day leaving work, I broke it loose and got a little sideways where the Meanie would just make a lot of noise. Roll it on easy and enjoy the rush.

Just wanted to introduce myself to other members of this friendly forum. I am in Jacksonville,FL and hope to be the owner of a 2010 to 2013 touring model soon. Formerly rode a 2006 Kawasaki Nomad, found it ok but a little small/cramped for me. Sold it a couple of years ago. Itching to get back in the saddle. I'm in my mid fifties and wanna ride again until I can't or have to trike it. Browsed this forum for a couple of weeks after not being satisfied with my research on other large motorcycles and decided to join (lurking's not my style)! Need to get my grin back after a couple of years without. Looking forward to communicating with others here.
Welcome from Calgary Canada. Where it was 16 degrees yesterday and I rode for the first February in over a decade.
You'll love the R3 .

I'm chicken to ride in the cold, and a little arthritic. It is 29 degrees this morning here. Even though I'm in FL, we still get a few below freezing days here. The 250 to 325 other super sunny days each year make up for it though. Ride safely and watch for black ice!

Welcome to the forum... Have an old friend in Ocklawaha,Florida she usually can be found at Ma Barker's saloon. If your looking for a riding buddy for the day she loves to ride two up. Good gal, good company to ride with. Her name is Sandy.

Sorry for the late welcome to the site, oh mighty Orisha.

You should heed the referral to molinoman and his bike as he is known to pamper his steeds.

Also, Ogun, be wary of TRIICK's referral to "Sandy", as he is known to have a perverse sense of humor. I suspect that Sandy looks like this:

BTW, Ogun, TRIICK's also one heckuva good sport.

Enjoy that mini-blizzard yesterday, Rick?
