Hello from Missouri

What's the difference in the touring in the classic?
The Touring comes with a windshield, and hard bags, longer wheelbase, big fenders, single headlight, different tank, speedo on the tank, skinny back tire, and comes tuned with less power than Standards, Classics, and Roadsters. Good news is they can be tuned to have as much power as the others.

So the classic doesn't have a windshield or hard bags?

What's the difference in the touring in the classic?
As steel said two diferent styles tbe R3T started in 08 has one head light gauges on the tank and might resemble a harley only with a real motor . The Standard, Classic and Classic tourer have the double bug eyed monster look. And ended in 09. 2010 the roadster came out with a few more things like abs, moved pegs, a little more info on the clocks and were Triumph lost their taste in color.

Thank you. That did clear a lot of things up. I thought there were only 2 rocket 3s . The roadster with 2 headlights and the touring with one headlight and a different tank. The best I can tell, I did Get a nice bike. 09 with the black engine. Wow I have the front engine cover off, is there anything I should update while replacing the detent spring i.e. other springs, lifter thing-a-ma-bob? It has 23000 miles.

I wpuld see which lifter piece it has and change it if it has the small head on it.

Great choice welcome from the UK

Welcome from Indiana Stanley. You are definitely on a Rocket 3 Touring.

I just got mine in the spring and here is the fast track list to get the most out of her. I am still working through this list myself and it will be complete by spring.

1. The CATS are in the pipes if they are stock. TORS are an easy upgrade to let the engine breath.
2. Get with Paul Bryant on this page and get his cross over pipe.
3. Install the RAMair intake.
4. Download TuneECU. Get the cable to connect to the bike. Get Hanso's tune.

This will give you the most performance for the least amount of money.
