I actually bought my Rocket on 5/30, but I don't think I introduced myself here (I did on the .com site and must have thought I did it here too). Some of you have already been chatting with me to help me out with some issues, but I wanted to drop a line here and say hi to everyone.
My Rocket is a 2010 R3R with the Carpenter Package. When I bought it, it was all black with some blue flames airbrushed on some of the parts (it was a work in process). I decided I wanted a different look so I changed the color and made a hybrid paint design on the flyscreen and rear fender to still show off the carbon fiber (the bike has lots of CF) but have some color flow through. I always was a sucker for Candy Apple Red, so I thought why not?
So here are some pics of Smaug (bonus points to you if you know who that is, though it might cost you some "street cred" if you admit it). I'm quite happy with the way it turned out.
