Hello everyone from the KC, MO. area. Looking to buy myself my first Triumph Rocket 3. As of now I have a 2013 Aprilia TuonoV4. Doing my research thought about a KTM Superduke R but I am trying to remove my self from the sport bike thing. Will be going to look at a 2016 Roadster tomorrow. Phantom matte black. I hope to be hanging out here for a while. Thanks.

Hello r3bro and welcome from VA. I smiled as I read that you are leaving sport bikes behind and looking for an Roadster as the R3R can eat so many sport bikes for breakfast. The last two bikes I rode before my R3T were a VMAX and an FZ1. They are the only street bikes I have crashed. My world-wizened Army son told me that I was getting old, not that it is a bad thing, but that I needed to grow up, maybe get a cruiser he said. When i bought this bike, I called him and told him I bought a Triumph cruiser and he congratulated me wholeheartedly. A few minutes later, he calls me back and asks WTF DAD?!? That engine is bigger than the one in my car. I told him I took his advice and laughed my butt off listening to his new rant. Aw yes, life is great! Go get that R3 today!
 
Thanks Boog for the encouragement I am 58 years young and I have rode so many styles of bikes. I had a Victory Judge before the Aprilia (Man that Judge was Boring to ride) I Been through the Harley Phase also. I want something I can make some long trips on and enjoy the twist of the throttle BTW: Cardinal93, I just moved from Louisiana to KC.
