Well i sold my 67 bsa lightning, a 69 z50, and a 80 xs650 and bought a 2012 roadster last September.
It has been quite awhile since i have had a newer dependable road bike, the last ones being an electra glide police model. and a triumph sprint RS. I really liked the harley, but i hated having a bike that everyone else had. I still have a custom bmw k100 that i made into a bare bones bobber (stripper), a 71 guzzi ambassador, 77 kz400, at least 4 ktm's that get used for D23 hare scrambles and enduros (my 2 sons race, i just pit now..), and maybe too many other misc trail bikes and champ bikes.
I only got to go on a few rides before it got cold, but so far i like it.
It's a little too mellow sounding, so I want to put some other pipes on it and maybe triple K&Ns. I did build a cross-over pipe for it, thought about building a header pipe, but, maybe next winter for that.
If anyone knows of a set of used pipes, i would be interested.
Anyways, come on spring.
