From Brandon, Fl. I picked up my Rocket III this past Saturday.

I wasn't looking to jump on the Rocket bandwagon this soon, but my local dealer had a 2011 Touring that he was selling for around the price of a regular rocket with 2K in accessories at no charge so it was a deal I couldn't refuse.

So far going to the awkward courtship as the Rocket and I get to know each other, but seems like she'll be a fine stablemate to my Bonneville.

Welcome to the forum. You'll note a smidgeon more power available on the right grip than the Bonny has on tap. I recommend taking the MSF ERC course when a new bike sits in the barn. You can't beat range time on your new ride to get to know the brakes, steering and power.
 
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new treads. Exercise extreme caution in the presence of hd's because the R3 loves to randomly smoke them.
