Welcome from sunny New Mexico

I have rode motorcycles since I was 16 I'm now 44. My first bike was a Honda Nighthawk 450 cc twin cylinder. I have owned BMW, Yamaha and three Harley's.

The Rocket is hands-down is one of the best motorcycles made and by far the best I've owned for me.

If I'm not mistaken and high-octane gas it's not obtainable in Brazil? That makes the Rocket an even better choice as it runs just fine on 86 octane. Most of the other "super bikes" these days require at least 94 octane due to having very high compression ratios.

Right now the rocket is the only motorcycle I own one with a small dirtbike.

If I had unlimited money and garage space I would pick up a few more bikes but under no circumstances would I ever give up My Triumph Rocket.

Nice!

In fact, we do not even have gas in Brazil. What we have here is a blend of 27% ethanol in 89 octane (regular) or 95 (premium, very expensive).

One of the reasons to enter the forum is just about the ECU tuning (common maps for real gas do not work here). I am currently familiar with Harley Davidson Delphi ECU, but the Triumph system is completely different...

I knew the something unusual about the gas in Brazil. But I could not remember what it was. Most for gas here contains about 7% ethanol or more.

I have a 2014 Roadster that I bought used last year. It runs great on whatever gass I put in it. One of my best friends has an 2016 Indian Springfield and he needs high octane or his bike rings like crap.

The only modification to my bikes engine has been the addition of a Dain exhaust. I was going to rip out the stock air box and put in a Ram Air and install a PowerComander V this week.....

BUT unfortunately I broke my leg last week! No, not a bike accident thank God, doing Jiu Jitsu
