Hello from Belarus

Sorry Phil, but that should be called a "Honda Davidson" :D

Her nickname was "Harley Eater" as she never encountered an H-D that wasn't promptly chewed up and spat out other than for one well worked up V-Rod which only started to walk away from us after the first 2-300 yards out of the hole.

To your point, though, I purchased her from an obsessed man in Florida that lavished bling upon her to the point that all of the aftermarket stuff had a higher value ($13,000+) than the bike's original MSRP!

I enjoy these talks LOL. We all are proud of our horses. Don't offend each other. We ride same road anyway faster or slower :)

I am a sometimes election official in my county, and for the 2008 presidential election for some reason the precinct I was running was chosen as a place for some observers from the Belarus embassy. They stayed for about an hour, then gave me a bottle of something fancy -- only thing I can read on the label is 43%.

I thought that, possibly - due to the buffalo pictured on the label - that the elixir was something like Polish Zubrowka, a vodka infused with a delicious lemony-flavored "buffalo grass", but it sounds like it will be more similar to an herbal schnappes.

Za Vas, Paul!

I don't organize them but I suspect they are the same wherever you may go. Make sure there is food and drink, and maybe you can get local motorcycle shops to sponsor....They provide food and drink, and in exchange they can put up signs advertising themselves. Make it family friendly and get everyone to come....it'll be great!

Generally we conduct some online polling to first determine how many people are interested, asilak. Next step is to have a discussion among interested parties regarding a desirable target area or location(s), convenient or centralized meeting/lodging places and, once that is settled, later conversations about planning dates for the ride/meet, planning out specific rides, head counts for lodging, food and other logistics.

Usually it's best to have one or two people leading or delegating out the responsibilities of organizing such events. Obviously, a single day meet and greet is much simpler to organize than putting together multi-day, multi- ride itineraries.
