Looked at a new Thruxton today. I want that big headlight on my Rocket 3. Now to find the parts on E-Bay, I don't need two lights. My Norton's have one. Gary..

i'd never go back to 1 light again. a) better/wider vision at night, 2) if 1 light dies i can get home with 1, (iii) it's difficult to judge distance with 1 light so having 2 makes me more visible to cagers imo, (d) harleys have 1 light (or 3 with spot lamps) and ya dont want to look like a harley now do ya
oh and (5) the bug eye look of the rocket is both really cool and unique-ish

I went the other route,
I've got 3 on mine.
To see and be seen ain't a bad thing.
I figure with 3 triangle lights in a triangle pattern
that's "unusual" enough to "MAYBE" get me noticed by cagers
who are busy texting, talking or otherwise distracted.

To each his own right?
Good luck with your project.

Imagine...

All three of those lights.... modulating....

wonder how to hook something like a modulator up to 3 of em?
that'd get their attention I bet.
Good idea Will, Thanks.

Kisan offers both dual and single headlight kits. So you would need to buy only two kits.

Installing a Headlight modulator; is by far... one of the best safety devices that you can proactively use on a motorcycle.

I am admonished. My Streettriple has two, So I leave two on my 05 Rocket. It was just an impulse. In the old days I put Hella halogen on my Norton, to see better and farther. Gary.

i was actually thinking about going with 3 for a brief moment before i even got the bike, as in rocket "3" etc. but then after i made up this comparison pic i realised the 2 lamps match the 2 clocks and the 2 mirrors etc... and the whole bug eye thing, especially with the angry screen on..."grrrr"....

Which screen is that in the 2nd picture? I've seen the YouTube vid with this bike, but don't know my screens obviously. OEM flyscreeN?

i wont pretend to know what nationality the dudes in the vid were, but there's a japanese company that does them

people call it the angry fly/sportscreen, but there are 2 versions of the angry. i call this one the roundy angry.
there's a UK dude on here who makes screens and bellypan/chinspoilers, but that's the flat angry

i see perdurabo on here has a roundy angry, perhaps he or warp can divulge the source of that screen.
i have the standard OEM sportscreen, and plan on putting the roundy angry on when i do the turbo conversion :D
