Standard Bore
Hello everyone,
Just purchased a new (to me) Rocket 3 R. It’s a 2020 model and only had 320 miles on it. Got a decent deal but starting to find little issues with the bike (the doofus who owned it previously apparently wasn’t very gentle with it in those 320 miles). The cover on the front power point is broken off (in the meantime I’ve ordered a rubber plug to cover it) and the USB port under the seat does not appear to work. And the right side mirror just flops in the wind (which I’ve been reading is a common issue). There’s also a recall or two that he/she didn’t address.
Despite that I’m enjoying riding the bike and having a freight train’s worth of torque on tap. My last power cruiser was a 2009 V-Rod and most recently I’ve been riding a Street Scrambler, so it’s definitely nice to twist the throttle and lurch forward.
Looking forward to relying on everyone’s superior expertise regarding the Rocket and I hope to learn a lot.
