You'd be surprised at how close the snow is to us in San Diego. I saw some on last weekend's ride. The hills around Julian, Palomar Mountain and Sunrise Highway all have snow right now.
Howdy and Welcome aboard.
Glad to have you with us.
Plenty of knowledgeable folks on this site about anything Rocket related,
for instance, want to know what the dark side tire of choice is,
or how about how often to grease your splines,
it's all here, so join in and learn from the experience that's here.
Take care, ride safe and again,
Welcome from Oklahoma, U.S.S.A.

Usually only takes a single moment to make owning a Rocket inevitable. That first ride or even just seeing one as you did. Once it's in your system you're gone; you simply must have one. Good to have you join us.
Hoping to get many many years out of the Rocket. I keep my bikes for a while. Before the Valkyrie I bought a new '79 Goldwing. BOY what a step up to ride the Valk, now I have come into the 21st century with electronic fuel injection, etc. And the handling difference. The Rocket almost feels like a sport bike compared to the Valk. I am however having trouble waiting for the "system to boot" I want to hit the button as soon as I turn the key. And getting used to the new noises. Patience will come.
